While serving as the CEO of the American Nurses Association (ANA) Enterprise from 2009- 2018, Marla’s leadership in large-scale change, innovation, growth, and strategies transformed ANA into one of the fastest-growing national associations.

Linnea Conrad Roberts

Founder and CEO of GingerBread Capital Linnea spent three decades in investment banking focused on Capital Markets, Valuation, Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. In the latter half of her career on Wall Street Linnea was a Partner in the technology sector at Goldman Sachs, where she led many a start-up from launch to IPO. She launched GingerBread Capital in 2016.

Eeshika Dadheech

RN, BSN, Analyst

Eeshika is an Analyst at Nurse Capital and a PICU nurse at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She holds a dual degree in Nursing and Healthcare Management from Penn Nursing and The Wharton School. Her experience spans the full healthcare landscape from policy work at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the American Public Health Association, to startups and health innovation programs at the University of Michigan. She is particularly passionate about the role of digital health in driving systemic, scalable change.

Omid Razmpour

PhD, MBA, RN, Senior Associate

Omid is a nurse, researcher, and entrepreneur focused on the economics and future of the nursing workforce. A former COVID-19 intensive care nurse, his work examines the financial impact of nurse turnover and workforce instability, including the development of the RETAIN Framework to help health systems quantify and address workforce disruption. His work draws on experience across Emory University, Emory Healthcare, and the MIT Sloan School of Management at the intersection of research, operations, and healthcare innovation. Through Nurse Capital, he is committed to expanding nurses’ understanding of entrepreneurship, venture capital, and new pathways for leadership and innovation in healthcare.

Skyler Cohen

MBA, MSN, RN Advisor

Skyler is a healthcare executive focused on emerging healthcare technology and its use to disrupt the consumer experience. Her diverse experience crosses clinical settings, payers and technology companies, providing her with a unique understanding of how different components of the healthcare ecosystem interface. She was an early employee at Sesame and Oscar Health (payer), a healthcare unicorn. She then developed and served as Executive Director of Mount Sinai Health System’s Executive Health Program which provides concierge medical care for executives. At a fem tech VC firm Skyler executed diligence to inform strategic investment strategy, she spent time as an analyst at a premier Wall Street investment bank and currently advises digital health tech companies at a VC fund. Skyler is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Healthcare Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and most recently, her MBA from Columbia Business School.

Bhaskar Ahuja

Chief Advisor, Fund Finance & Strategy

Bhaskar Ahuja is a Harvard-trained dealmaker with deep experience in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and fund finance. He serves as Chief Advisor for Fund Finance and Strategy at Nurse Founders Fund, where he works closely with the leadership team on fund structure, capital strategy, financial modeling, governance, and investor readiness. Previously, Bhaskar served as CEO of a venture capital firm, where he led investments in emerging technology and healthcare companies and worked alongside founders and investors to scale venture-backed businesses. His work today focuses on strengthening the institutional foundation of Nurse Founders Fund and supporting the long-term stewardship of a venture platform dedicated to backing nurse-founded healthcare companies. Bhaskar is also an industry thought leader who writes on investing, acquisitions, and capital strategy. He is passionate about empowering nurses to become founders and believes nurse-led innovation will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare.
